Today got three things in the mail, which will set me on my way towards freedom!
Freedom from many different things but mostly financial freedom from the burden of dishing out more than a 1/4th of my income to base rent.

So the solar panel came, the 12 volt electrical system book, and the extender cables so that I can run the panel into the van.  I still need the charge controller, and an AGM battery, not sure if im going to get two 6v ones or one/two 12 v, I like the idea of doubling my amp hours so I may get a 12 and later add another one.
The panel is bigger than I imagined, im surprised! 
Now I need my van.
